Sun Koshi river expedition is a very famous rafting expedition in Nepal which will change your whole lifetime experience. Starting from Dolalghat, the excitement starts and ends only after you cover the distance of 210 kms of wild river stretches through high rock strewn passages, gradually emerging from the mountains to the flat plains of Southern Nepal.

One of the best white water journeys, Sun Koshi river expedition offers a longest river trip and the most fascinating too. Gentle to strong rapids, warm water, mind blowing sceneries and great camping make this a classic multiday river journey. Sun Koshi is an unpredictable river which has its own moods and nature because of the fact that it’s calm and serene one moment while wild and turbulent on the other time. En route to the Chatara, the ultimate endpoint of the adventure, you will come across so many ethnic communities, their cultures and traditions and also through different species of exotic birds.

There’s many of the good reasons why Sun Koshi river expedition is getting more popular these days. Finishing at Chatara, gangetic plains of Southern Nepal, a few hrs drive to Biratnagar and the scenic flight will bring you back to Kathmandu.
