Day 16:Depart From Kathmandu
Day 01Arrival at the Kathmandu via respective airlines. On landing at Kathmandu international airport, Nepal Adventure Team staff and guide will receive you with a warm welcome and then transfer to the hotels in the center point of Kathmandu around the interesting area of Thamel. After refreshment our guide / pioneer will brief you regarding hotels, Nepali cultures and your upcoming Manaslu and Larke pass trekking with a welcome dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant assisted by a folk cultural program.
Day 02Arrangement day in Kathmandu.We isolate this day for the arrangement of the whole entire journey. You will be informed of all the trekking plans and the packing list, what you can expect and how it can be additionally interesting. Day 03Drive to Soti Khola 730 m by means of Arughat 600m - 07 hours. Morning a fascinating long drive to Gorkha region around Nepal's mid west to begin this fabulous adventure. From here on the wonderful winding way achieving Tatopani "Hot Spring" where one can have an opportunity for a hot bathe. If the time permits, after a decent rest, walk carries on passing the villages of Dovan and Yaruphant to arrive Jagat village.
Day 06Trek to Dyang 1,800 m - 06 hours. Journey continues to higher area following Budhi Gandkai river, then encountering several small and neat farm villages. After rest there, trek with a short climb and downhill to reach at Nagjet, then a climb up to nice village at Philim and through farm terraces of golden fields of wheat’s and barley to a rocky ridge top. Overnight halt at Dyang village.
Day 07Trek to Namrung 2,630 m - 04 hrs via Ghap 2,160 m - 05 hours Time to enter the high Manaslu Himalaya area. Morning walk continues with a descend towards a river side to reach at Bihi Bazaar, a small village. The area from here onward has more Tibetan influence as one can notice the way of living and custom of Tibetan origin. The walk continues on the gradual trail through Ghap village until you arrive Namrung village for overnight stop with superb views of Mount Manaslu.
Day 08Trek to Samagaon 3,530 m - 5/6 hours From here onward, tree lines disappear for few short shrubs of juniper bushes. Walk on a gradual path to arrive at large village of Samagaon, which lies close to Manaslu base camp. Travel to 'Birendra lake' in the afternoon, hiking up for 45 mins for the breathtaking views. Overnight in Samagaon.
Day 09Samagaon for acclimatization. A necessary place for acclimatization and visiting Manaslu base camp at this high altitude. After finishing breakfast, pack up your lunches to hike to Manaslu base camp(4895 m) for 3 hrs where you can explore around while taking stunning pictures.
Day 10Trek to Samdo 3,860 m - 04 hours Follow the terrain with incredible views to finally arrive at Samdo for overnight stop. Samdo is the closest village to Tibet border where people have been trading with Tibet for hundreds of years which is still active at present.
Day 11Trek to Dharamsala / Larke phedi 4,460 m - 05 hours Walk leads to cross icy river several times and then heading towards complete barren country, however the morning trek is not hard on the gradual path with few ups and downs. On completing the trekking, you'll arrive at Larke phedi(base of Larke la) for the afternoon free for short hike after lunch. Viewpoint of Larke peak.
Day 12Cross Larke la 5,214m and to Bimtang 3,720 m - 08 hours. A Big Day! Start early this morning to reach the top of the Larkya-la pass. The walk can be quite strenuous and long but with awesome scenery of surrounding hills, valleys and Mt. Manaslu, Larke peak, Bouddha Himal, Himalchuli and Peak 29. After a bit of the rest descend to Bimtang for overnight stop.
Day 13Trek to Tilje (2300m) - 7 to 8 HoursComparing to the other day, today's walk will be a bit of the leisurely walk on the downhill most of the way to Gho and through enchanting woodlands of rhododendron, pines and oaks to Tilche. It is a Gurung village rich with typical traditions.
Day 14Trek to Dharapani (1930m) – 1 ½ to 2 hours and drive to Bensi Sahar (825m) - 2 / 3 hoursThis day trek will take you to Dharapani, where the altitude drops and is situated on the Annapurna Circuit trekking trail. we will take a jeep to Beshisahar for the overnight stop. Besishar is a large town and the headquarter of Lamjung district. The drive will pass through several villages Syange, Nagdi, Bulbule following Marsyangdi river downstream to Bensisahar.
Day 15Drive back to Kathmandu – 07 hours. Few hour drive from Beshisahar will bring you at Dumre on the main Pokhara /Kathmandu highway, and then 3-4 hrs more drive will finally bring you back into Kathmandu after a great memorable time in the high mountains of Manaslu region.

Passport & Visa
All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, need visas to enter Nepal. Getting a visa must be the easiest one though. You just have to go to the Nepalese Embassy/consulate in your country or it can also be obtained upon your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport. To get a visa, you need to bring 2 pp size photos, visa fees and valid passport.

Means of Transport
Deluxe bus, car, jeep and walking. All the cost is already included unless otherwise noted.
Travel insurance is a must when you travel abroad. Therefore before you come to Nepal, please make sure you have your insurance documents with you since our insurance companies cannot insure foreign nationals. Because of the reason that they cover all the expenses if you face some unfortunate happenings and you have to be rescued or medically assisted during the trip or if your belongings are lost or stolen.
We have arranged for the single traveller to pay for the single trip only. He has to share the accommodation with other person of same sex though while he can also join the other groups.
Foods and Accommodations
All meals are provided during trek while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. Generally, traditional Nepalese(daal, bhat, curry and pickle), Tibetan, Continental, Indian and other cuisines are available in the local lodges/teahouses. There will also be welcome and farewell dinner for guests in Kathmandu.
In Kathmandu, youll be staying in the best quality hotel basically in 3 stars, on twin-sharing basis. On trekking,accommodations are simple yet comfortable on mountain lodges. Toilets and bathrooms need to be shared while you have to pay for the hot water bath.
Note: Single room is always available but only on special request and spending extra bucks.
Health and Fitness required
No previous experience is required since its a moderate trek. But you being a healthy person, physically and mentally is very important. It is better if we prepare ourselves few days/weeks prior to the start of the trek by jogging and running regularly since well be walking a lot of ups and downs in the hills, ridges, villages and mountains. Participants with the pre-existing medical conditions should inform us beforehand.
First Aid Kit/High Altitude Sickness
Nepal Adventure Team strongly suggests that you have your own personal first aid or medical kit. This trip takes you to a height above 4000m within few days but the slow walks and regular stops between the walks will help you acclimatize on high altitude saving you from the high altitude sickness called AMS(acute mountain sickness). Gaining altitude without proper consideration of AMS is fatal.
Your Guide and Porter
Since the mountain trekking take you to the remote places over high altitudes, the leader should have a significant knowledge in the field so that he can wonderfully and safely lead you there clearing any obstacles on the way. We,Nepal Adventure Team can proudly say that our guides are highly qualified for the role. They are fully trained, experienced and licensed. They have undergone through a whole lot of trainings to make themselves useful in various situations and to make your journey a smooth and pleasant one.
Our porters are always fully equipped with the gears they need and as per the company policy, they are always insured and completely looked after. They are our backbone. We allow maximum weight of 25kg to be carried by one porter. We make sure that they are well paid and well treated.
Best Time to Travel
The best time for trekking to the Manaslu base camp is Spring(March to May) and Autumn(September to November) because the weather is warm and moderate while the view and visibility is the best. The winter and the summer is the less frequented times because of the extreme cold and the monsoon rain respectively.
Equipments and Packing Lists

Trekking has been long established in Nepal,so the itineraries are modified and moderated in such a way that you can take it easy and slow. DO NOT RUSH AND ENJOY. There is plenty of time and guide will keep track of you all the time. It might be a bit harder or a bit more colder but you will get used to it.
Every traveller is different and they spend their own way. Some spend on food and drinks while other on souvenirs. Either way, consider your own spending habits and also tipping, emergency fund($200), etc before you pack up and leave.
Trip Specific Safety
Your guide is always there for your safety concerns and looking after your valuables. But you have to be equally careful. Carry some sort of wallet or belt for your important documents and money. The hotels have the safety deposit box where the lock is recommended before passing the luggage.
