Badimalika cultural trek is a newly explored trekking trail which is hidden behind the scenic high passes, ethnic villages, green hills and the unexpectedly beautiful landscapes. Every year, during the festivals Ganga Dussehra and Janai Purnima, during the month of August, pilgrims from Nepal and the neighboring countries arrive here to pray and worship believing that their wishes are fulfilled after praying at the holy temple. The trekking area is also home to Khaptad National Park situated at 3000 m which is one of best place to retreat with self meditation and get high spirits through wonderful nature. It is believed a holy saint named Khaptad spent his entire life meditating here and practicing yoga hence got the name.

The trekking route is open throughout the year except for the snowfall in winter. Travelling with the local guide and staying in the local lodges or homes with the local people is just an extraordinary way of enjoying your holiday.
