Chulu East Peak Climb leads to popular scenic Annapurna Circuit route follows raging Marsyangdi River upstream right near to its source around high scenic Manang valley.
Chulu East Peak Climb with good acclimatization and preparations, the climb is straight forward, requires skill on ice axe, crampons and use of fix ropes, Chulu East Peak at 6,584 meters the highest trekking peak of Nepal Himalaya. The climb is less technically demanding requires being physically and mentally fit to accomplish this adventure to the summit, climbing grade rated PD+( Peu Difficile / some technical difficult and walking on glaciers) the grade as per Swiss / French Alpine System which is widely used.
After the climb with immense support of Nepal Adventure Team and expert guide next adventure leads to Thorang-La pass at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft high after exploring Manang village.
Slowly and gradually trek climbs to high Thorang-la pass at 5,416 meters, with awesome views of mountains with Dhaulagiri range, heading downhill to holy Muktinath and towards Kali-Gandaki valley which is the world deepest gorge located between giant 8,000 meters peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
This wonderful adventure to Chulu East Peak Climb and walk concludes at Jomsom, a large town and headquarters of Mustang area, next morning a short scenic flight brings you at picturesque Pokhara.

Day 03:Drive to Jagat 1,290 m via Beshishar 800 m - 08 hrs.
Day 04:Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m - 05 hours.
Day 05:Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hours.
Day 06:Trek to Pisang 3, 230 m - 05 hrs.
Day 07:Trek to Julu village 3,900 m - 06 hrs.
Day 08:At Julu for acclimatization.
Day 09:Trek to Chulu Base Camp at 5,300m.
Day 10:Rest day at Base Camp.
Day 11:Ascent of Chulu East Peak and descend to Base Camp.
Day 12:Reserve day in case of bad weather condition

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines. On arrival at Kathmandu international airport terminal Nepal Adventure Team staff and guide will receive you with a warm welcome and then transfer to respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu around the interesting area of Thamel. After refreshment our guide / leader will brief with information regarding hotels, Nepali culture, tours and Chulu East Peak Climb with welcome dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant with folk cultural program.
Day 02Preparation day in Kathmandu.We separate this day for the preparation of the entire journey. You will be informed of all the climbing plans and the packing lists, what you can expect and how it can be more interesting. This day can be important to most of the people before beginning the journey. Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu is optional when if intended, you can visit a number of world heritage listed places .
Day 03Drive to Jagat 1,290 m via Beshishar 800 m - 08 hrs. Morning with interesting and scenic long drive towards Nepal mid west, journey leads to Beshishar town then on the dirt road to Khudi, Bhulbhule and Ngadi following the Marsyangdi River upstream, drive continues through rice terraces fields and villages to Syange, from here with a slow climb leaving the Marsyangdi River behind to reach first overnight stop at Jagat village, a farm village with many lodges for trekkers.
Day 04Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m - 05 hours. From Jagat village start the first walk of this trip on a gradual winding path to Chamje, and back at Marsyangdi River to crossing on the eastern bank and into forested area, with superb views of Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, as the walk advances on the wide path to a nice village of Tal Besi, Here for lunch break, and then another 2-3 hours walk leads at Dharapani village for overnight stop, Dharapani a nice village situated on the junction of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu trekking trail.
Day 05Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hours. After Dharapani walk along the wide winding trail into serene rhododendron and pine forest passing villages of Bagachap and Danque, then to Timang village from here onwards into more Buddhist culture village with grand view of Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft, from Timang village few hours trek leads to Koto and then to Chame town for overnight stop, Chame a large and major town of Manang area and as well a head quarter of Manang district.
Day 06Trek to Pisang 3, 230 m - 05 hrs. From here onwards the air gets cooler and fresh as the walk leads close to mountains, morning walk leads through enchanting alpine forests of rhododendron and pine trees, following the Marshyangdi River upstream with short ups and down hills to Bhratang village. From Bhratang village walk follows uphill through alpine woodland to Dhukure Pokhari a small place with few teahouses and lodge overlooking Chulu’s and Pisang peak, with a lunch break here, walk descends to lower Pisang village for overnight stop.
Day 07Trek to Julu village 3,900 m - 06 hrs. From Pisang village, leaving main Annapurna circuit route behind with steep climb above Marshyangdi River, along the walk impressive views of snow peaks, continue trek on high trail above Nagawa village, and then route leads towards North West into arid dry terrain to reach at Julu a small village for first camping of this adventure.
Day 08At Julu for acclimatization. A necessary rest day at Julu village for proper acclimatization and preparation for the adventurous climb of Chulu East peak, here one can take a hike around and explore Julu traditional village with grand scenery of close fantastic mountains views with the Chulu’s peaks.
Day 09Trek to Chulu Base Camp at 5,300m. After a pleasant stop at Julu, morning walk to wilderness of arid and dry terrain with great views of Chulu’s and Annapurna, Damodar range of mountains, then climb with few gradual sections, the high hill walk leads towards ridge of Chulu East and Far East Peaks, after tough high altitude walk reaching rocky moraines beneath our overnight camp, this perfect spot will be the base camp and starting point to Chulu East Peak climb.
Day 10Rest day at Base Camp. Another necessary acclimatization day and to check the climbing equipment for the climb of Chulu East Peak
Day 11Ascent of Chulu East Peak and descend to Base Camp. The highlight and aim of this great adventure starting very early before dawn and then climbing on snow slopes, can be quite steep with technical section in few sections to reach the summit of Chulu East; our guide will set the route and fixing ropes in necessary area for this great climb to the summit top, after the final ascend to the top of the summit with great spirit and feeling high, marvel the surrounding overwhelming views and descend back to base camp.
Day 12Reserve day in case of bad weather condition An extra day as contingency, in case of unfavorable weather conditions sometimes weather can be unpredictable around Himalaya, so an extra day is necessary, if all goes well can be used on the way to Manang village or at Jomsom with short day walk enjoying the great scenery along the way.
Day 13Trek to Manang 3,350m - 04 hrs. On reaching Nagwal after Julu village, walk is easier descending with views of high snow capped peaks, reaching at Hongdre village with a short air-strip. Walk from here is on gradual path most of the way to Manang via Braga village with interesting monastery. The largest in the district, it has an outstanding display of statues, thangkas and the religious manuscripts. From here it is only an hour walk to Manang for the overnight stop. From Pisang onwards to Manang houses are built in traditional Tibetan style as people of Manang practice rich Buddhism religion, culture and traditions.
Day 14Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m - 04 hours.After overnight in Manang, morning walk on gradual path passing last village of Manang at Tenke and then in complete wilderness with gentle uphill walk to Ghunsang village with great views of Gangapurna, Tilicho and Chulu West peaks, then slowly reaching at Yak Kharka for lunch and overnight stop with great views.
Day 15Trek to Thorong High Camp 4,600 m - 04 hrs. As the walk advances to high area, heading closer to the base of Thorang-la as the walk leads to cross a bridge and then a climb along the river bank of Jarjung, as the walk leads at Thorung Phedi, here depending upon the physical conditions of the clients, if all goes well an hour steep climb to Thorang High Camp for overnight stop.
Day 16Trek to Muktinath 3,800m crossing Thorong-La 5,416 m - 06 hrs. After breakfast walk leads to a long climb up to Thorang-la with a steep terrain and winding path to Thorung La Pass at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft. The highest altitude gain of this adventure with superb vista of landscapes and snowcapped peaks, from here a long descend to Muktinath at 3,800 m. On reaching Muktinath for overnight stop, a holy place for both Hindus and Buddhists the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’.
Day 17Trek to Jomsom 2, 715 m - 04 hours. After Muktinath, rest of the journey is much easier with moderate walks with a big drop of 1,200m downhill to Kaligandaki river valley, this pleasant walk leads to Kaligandaki river valley, from here onward gets much windy during afternoon time as the walk brings at Jomsom, the headquarter town of Mustang region with a small airstrip above Kaligandaki River. Lunch and overnight in Jomsom a nice town with afternoon free for stroll around the town and shops.
Day 18Fly to Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Morning walk to Jomsom small airport for short sweeping and scenic flight to picturesque Pokhara valley, Pokhara with massive Annapurna mountain views with serene Phewa Lake where most of the hotel are located.
Day 19Drive or fly back to Kathmandu - 06 hrs. Morning a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, after a wonderful adventure to Chulu East Peak Climb around Annapurna trail, on reaching Kathmandu transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure for relaxation and shopping souvenirs. (Flying options as per the flight time our staff transfer you to Pokhara domestic airport for 30 minutes scenic flight to Kathmandu)
Day 20International departure for homeward bound. Your last day in amazing Nepal as per international flight time our staff will transfer you to international airport for your flight back home or to next port of call, after a great and remarkable adventure around Annapurna with Chulu East Peak Climb with grand service of Nepal Adventure Team its guides and staff.
