Hiking to Nagarkot and Namo Buddha begins from Chisapani, which can be reached after an hour drive and 4-5 hour hike. The hiking trail is dominated by the sub-tropical forests and magnificent waterfalls and watershed area of the Shivapuri National Park. Nagarkot is a popular place for tourists and a great place to view the Himalayas and stunning sunrise over them. The scenery is just awesome with green hill surroundings and scattered villages. The hike leads you to the Dhulikhel town, which has preserved the centuries old pagoda style temples. It is an ancient town from where you can explore the eastern Himalayas. It is a gradual climbing up from a fine trail to the Namobuddha monastery. It is an important monastery for Buddhists and a pilgrimage place. Panauti village is about 2 hour walking distance. It is a Newar village with an attraction of the greenery, ethnic settlements and the authentic history.

Day 03:Chhisapani to Nagarkot.

Day 06:International departure
Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m On arrival at Kathmandu international airport, Nepal Adventure Team staff and guide will receive you with a warm welcome and then transfer to the respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu around the interesting area of Thamel. After refreshment our guide / leader will brief you regarding hotels, Nepali cultures, tours and Hiking to Nagarkot and Namo Buddha with a welcome dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant assisted by a folk cultural program. Day 02Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, hike to Chisapani.After 1 hr drive to Sundarijal hike to Chisapani(5 hr) through the rhododendron forests of Shivapuri National Park. Along the way is Mulkharka, a traditional Tamang village and descend down to Chisapani, which is the best viewpoint for the eastern mountains from Langtang, Ganesh to Gaurishankar Himalayan ranges. Day 03Chhisapani to Nagarkot.5 hr downhill walk mostly. On clear day, one can see from Dhaulagiri in the west past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east. Best viewpoint for sunrise. BLD. Night in hotel.
Day 04Nagarkot to Dhulikhel-6 hrsHiking to the most popular destination lying in Kavre district. It offers finest panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and scenic landscapes. Paradise for nature lovers. The centuries old pagoda style temples are still preserved. The trail this day will take you to Rhonnie Bhanjyang from where rugged paths lead through Kankre, Tanchok, Tusal, Opi and eventually to Dhulikhel. Gokhureswar Mahadev in the east and Bhagwati temple in the west are famous for visit. BLD. Hotel.
Day 05Dhulikhel to Namobuddha and drive back to Kathmandu. Hike for 4 hrs to Namobuddha, famous ancient Buddhist monastery. There’s a legend that Lord Buddha offered his body to a hungry tigress at this very place before he obtained his enlightenment because of why it’s a holy place for Buddhists. From there, hike down through terraced fields and hamlets to Panauti(2 hrs) to drive back to Kathmandu. Panauti, an important historic Newari village which still has its historic authenticity. Drive back to Kathmandu. BLD. Hotel.
Day 06International departure Your last day in amazing Nepal. As per international flight time, our staff will transfer you to international airport for your flight back home or to next port of call, after a great Hiking to Nagarkot and Namo Buddha with Nepal Adventure Team.

Passport & Visa
All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, need visas to enter Nepal. Getting a visa must be the easiest one though. You just have to go to the Nepalese Embassy/consulate in your country or it can also be obtained upon your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport. To get a visa, you need to bring 2 pp size photos, visa fees and valid passport.

Private car, bus and walking. All the cost is already included unless otherwise noted.
Travel insurance is a must when you travel abroad. Therefore before you come to Nepal, please make sure you have your insurance documents with you since our insurance companies cannot insure foreign nationals. Because of the reason that they cover all the expenses if you face some unfortunate happenings and you have to be rescued or medically assisted during the trip or if your belongings are lost or stolen.
We have arranged for the single traveller to pay for the single trip only. He has to share the accommodation with other person of same sex though while he can also join the other groups.
Foods and Accommodations
Full meals will be available throughout the journey except only breakfast when you arrive and leave. The accommodation will be on the best quality hotels on your entire trip on twin sharing basis.
Note: Single room is always available but only on special request and spending extra bucks.

Every traveller is different and they spend their own way. Some spend on food and drinks while other on souvenirs. Either way, consider your own spending habits and also tipping, emergency fund($200), etc before you pack up and leave.
Trip Specific Safety
Your guide is always there for your safety concerns and looking after your valuables. But you have to be equally careful. Carry some sort of wallet or belt for your important documents and money. The hotels have the safety deposit box where the lock is recommended before passing the luggage.
