Jungle safari in the Bardiya National Park is a magnificent travelling package to the undisturbed and largest national park in Nepals terai. It is as much popular as the Chitwan National Park.
Located at west of Nepal Terai, the park is famous for viewing of Black Buck. Bardiya National Park is also a home and habitat for Royal Bengal Tiger, one horned Rhinoceros and hundreds of different species of mammals, reptiles and birds life. Langur monkey, leopard, Jungle cat, large and small Indian civets, mongoose, hyena, wild dog, jackal, Sloth bear, otter, porcupine, bandicoots, blue bull (Nilgai), Sambar deer, hog deer, barking dear, wild boar, etc are few which is found here.
Theres also a lot of interesting things to do in this park beside observing floras and faunas which is rafting, canoeing, Tharu cultural observation and more.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu 1350mYou will be received with the warm smile of our staffs at the airport and be transferred to the hotel for rest.
Day 02Fly Kathmandu to NepalgunjWhen you arrive at Nepalgunj airport, our staffs will receive you and transfer you to the lodge in Bardiya. After short briefing, you will go to visit Tharu villages and elephant breeding centre. Dinner in lodge.
Day 03Bardiya National Park program After the early breakfast, go for the jungle tour on the elephant's back to observe the wildlife. Jungle walk, bird watching, visiting to Crocodile Breeding Centre, Tharu cultural museum and many more. Dinner in lodge.
Day 04National Park program Wake up to have the tea, coffee and breakfast. Drive to the rafting point where you can observe a lot of wild lives while on the raft, getting close to the floras and faunas. You will also go for the jungle walk where bird watching and exploring can be done. Dinner in lodge.
Day 05National Park program This day, you'll travel in a jeep to see the wild animals and birds. Jungle walking, Hindu temple, Tharu museum and more. Dinner at lodge.
Day 06Flight to Kathmandu Bird watching to be done after breakfast. Then packing up the stuffs, flight back to the Kathamandu.
Day 07International departureTime to get back sweet home after a wonderful journey to Bardiya National Park.
Passport & Visa
All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, need visas to enter Nepal. Getting a visa must be the easiest one though. You just have to go to the Nepalese Embassy/consulate in your country or it can also be obtained upon your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport. To get a visa, you need to bring 2 pp size photos, visa fees and valid passport.

Means of Transport
Flight, Private car, bus and walking. All the cost is already included unless otherwise noted.
Travel insurance is a must when you travel abroad. Therefore before you come to Nepal, please make sure you have your insurance documents with you since our insurance companies cannot insure foreign nationals. Because of the reason that they cover all the expenses if you face some unfortunate happenings and you have to be rescued or medically assisted during the trip or if your belongings are lost or stolen.
We have arranged for the single traveller to pay for the single trip only. He has to share the accommodation with other person of same sex though while he can also join the other groups.
Foods and Accommodations
All meals are provided during trek while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. Generally, traditional Nepalese(daal, bhat, curry and pickle), Tibetan, Continental, Indian and other cuisines are available in the local lodges.
Note: Single room is always available but only on special request and spending extra bucks.
It is very important to drink the water when you are doing jungle safari. Please drink enough water and its available en route which you have to buy.
Best Time to Travel
You can travel any time of the year for this trip.
Every traveller is different and they spend their own way. Some spend on food and drinks while other on souvenirs. Either way, consider your own spending habits and also tipping, emergency fund($200), etc before you pack up and leave.
Trip Specific Safety
Your guide is always there for your safety concerns and looking after your valuables. But you have to be equally careful. Carry some sort of wallet or belt for your important documents and money. The hotels have the safety deposit box where the lock is recommended before passing the luggage.

Possession or using of any illegal drugs is totally intolerable. Its because of the law that respects the local people and their culture. The group will be expelled in such case.

The groups safety is very important for us. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Even though every effort is made to go as planned, a little change might occur in the itinerary because of weather conditions, health condition of a person, unexpected natural disasters, etc. The leader will try to ensure the trip runs as planned, but please be prepared to be flexible just in case.
