Founder and DirectorJeevan Thapa Magar, the founder, and CEO of Nepal Adventure Team Pvt. Ltd. was born in Dhading Nepal. Apart from excellent academics, he was enthusiastic about trekking from a young age. He embarked on many adventure treks with his friends and relatives when he was small. He professionally started working as a trekking porter back in 2001. Then in 2012, he began solely managing treks and tours across Nepal in colossal magnitude. This zeal eventually led him to open his own company, Nepal Adventure Team in 2014.
He is prolific in reading maps, administering first aid, drafting perfect itineraries, managing trips, and trekking in remote areas. Jeevan is an ideal rock and peak climbing guide. He has gone on many treks and mountain climbing expeditions since his youth thus he is one of the most experienced people here in Nepal. To top it off, he has received training from the Nepal Ministry of Culture & Tourism as well as Civil Aviation from the Government of Nepal.
He is always interested in learning new things and traveling to new places which might be why he took up this field of work. He feels that there are many drawbacks in the field of tourism still in Nepal. At present, he is focused on providing job opportunities to the local people in remote areas of Nepal which is why he has established many business entities. He is eager to bring positive changes in travel and tourism. He wants to serve Nepal for as long as possible and promotes similar thoughts of patriotism and development. He has drawn upon himself the responsibility of carrying Nepal’s tourism to greater heights.
Among other things, it is a pride for the Nepal Adventure Team to say that Jeevan is the former first Vice President (Project Coordinator) at the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) for 2017 - 2019 AD. Jeevan is not just an entrepreneur but is also a social and community worker. He is former the Charter Secretary at the Lions Club of Nepal Everest, the former General Secretary, the president of Nepal Magar Tourism Society, and the Center Committee Member at Nepal Magar Sangh. Adding to the list of roles that he plays every day is that of the Executive Director at J.D. Intl Cultural Art Gallery Pvt Ltd.
Through his long-running experience and knowledge, Jeevan has incorporated various ideas from the veterans and hereby offers a wide range of adventure holiday packages including mountaineering, jungle safari, peak climbing, river rafting, and much more. He believes that the more choices you have, the better chance of you experiencing adventure.
