Benefits of 13 Days Gosaikunda Trek with Helambu

Gosaikunda is famous for its religious value as well as the amazement it supplies throughout the trails with tranquility and natural beauty along with local authentic culture. Gosaikunda is located at Langtang National Park which conserves and promotes nature and well being of wildlife (both flora and fauna) and reflects the richness of nature in Gosaikunda Trail. This makes Gosaikunda one of the desirable trekking destinations of the Langtang Trekking Region. Mostly there are two types of Gosaikunda Trekking Packages available; Short Gosaikunda Lake Trek: 8 days to Godly Lake and 13 Days Gosaikunda Trek: Gosaikunda Lake with Helambu.

Short Gosaikunda Lake Trek 8 days to Godly Lake starts from Dhunche and ends at Dhunche as trekkers use the same trail to and from Gosaikunda Lake. It has a short itinerary and easier trail as one returns through the same trail which makes the trekkers quite familiar with the path. If the trekkers have a short stay in Nepal, they can choose Short Gosaikunda Lake Trek.

Nevertheless, Gosaikunda is also said to have a network of 108 lakes with religious significance and only a few of them are accessible. 13 Days Gosaikunda Trek with Helambu enables the trekkers to reach those lakes which are accessible to humans. Normally, when you join Short Gosaikunda Lake Trek: 8days to Godly Lake, you trek up to Gosaikunda Lake and view Saraswati and Bhairab Lakes. But when you choose 13 Days Gosaikunda Trek: Gosaikunda Lake with Helambu you are enabled to observe more lakes of the Gosaikunda area as Saraswati, Bhairab, Surya, Chandra, Dudh. Additionally, trekkers are able to explore Helambu Region which starts after passing Laurebinayak La. Trekkers also pass Gosaikunda La and Tharepati La (La means pass in the Tibetan language) pass to continue trekking through Helambu Region with the exclusive snowcapped mountain view of Langtang Range, Himchuli, Manaslu, Ganesh, Jugal, Shishapangma and in the clear days' trekkers could also view Mount Everest from Sermathang. After staying at Gosaikunda Lake, instead of passing Laurebinayak La, trekkers pass Gosaikunda La and observe the lakes as Dudh, Chandra, and Surya. Likewise, trekkers stay and communicate with the villages such as Ghopte, Tharepati, Tarke Gyang, Sermathang, and Melamchi Bazaar. Trekkers get the opportunity to encounter diverse villages and cultures throughout the Gosaikunda with the Helambu region trek.
