• Day 1 Arrival at airport and transfer to hotel

    Nepal Adventure Team staff will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport and settle you to respective hotels in Thamel area. Welcome dinner with cultural program is organized by Nepal Adventure Team to fire up the energy for the trek..

    • Day 2 Preparation day in Kathmandu

      This day is all about the preparation required for the adventurous trek in Everest region. You will be informed about the trekking plans, tips, tricks and required materials for cozy journey. You can just res and relax for entire day to accumulate the energy for trek or just explore the Kathmandu valley and the World Heritage Sites.

      • Day 3 Fly to Lukla 2,820 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m - 04 hrs

        Starting early on having or with packed breakfast, heading towards Kathmandu domestic air terminal for a short scenic flight to Lukla in a smaller plane, on 35 minutes airborne incredible views of snowcapped mountains range with glimpse of Everest as the plane lands at Lukla amazing airstrip. From Lukla after a refreshing break follow our expert guide as the walk leads downhill and on gradual winding trail passing several nice Sherpa traditional villages with cheerful smiles to reach our first overnight stop at Phakding village by the glacial river Dudh Kosi.

        • Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 05 hrs

          After an enjoyable fist day trek, this morning walk is pleasant through beautiful alpine woodland of pines and rhododendron trees with views of snowcapped peaks, walk leads following the river upstream crossing several bridges and enter the Sagarmatha National Park entrance at Monjo, this park listed as highest park and within world heritage sites. As the walk progress after the last high bridge and uphill haul all the way to Namche Bazaar, a wonderful town-village where the colorful houses serving as hotels and lodge set in a U shape. In Namche Bazaar the last place with modern facilities of ATM, Banks, post office, Cyber Café, Trekking / Climbing shops and stores with many café, bakeries and restaurants with great views of Kwangde peaks towards south. 

          • Day 5 Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion

            A day is separated for acclimatization at Namche Bazar. You can go for the hike to the nearby areas as National Park Headquarter, Museum, market, and monastery and like. You can observe the lifestyle of local people. Besides, you can just rest and relax by cherishing the view of mesmerizing mountains; Everest, Thamserku, Kangtenga, Kwangde, Ama Dablam, Khumbila, and more. 

            • Day 6 Trek to Dole 4,110m - 06 hrs

              As we head to Gokyo, the first hour walk is easy and moderate till it joins the main trail at Kyangima near Shanasa and there is chance of seeing wildlife: Danphe pheasant (Impeyan Pheasant, National bird of Nepal), elusive musk deer, red panda, snow leopaerd and sometime herd of Himalayan Thar (mountain goat). Our route diverts towards north with a slow climb to the ridge at Mong 3,973 meters. After Mong, the path descends with series of switchbacks to Dudh Kosi at Phortse Thanghka. Further, path ascends through a patch of rhododendron, juniper and conifers trees. Finally, reach to Dole via Tongba village (3,950m) and Gyele (3,960m) for the overnight halt with striking view of Khumbila and Tawache 6,542m. 

              • Day 7 Trek to Machherma 4,470m-04 hrs

                After Dole, journey continues for an hour along the side of the valley on a moderate level trail to Lhabarma Kharka at 4,325 m and Luza at 4,390m. Skirting around the ridge line with first glimpse of Machherma, we stop at Machherma for lunch, dinner and stay. Afternoon can be used for short hike to view Mt. Cho Oyo 8,210m and all the mountains that flank the Ngozumba Glacier which also support for acclimatization.

                • Day 8 Trek to Gokyo 4,800m -04 hrs

                  Journey leads to Gokyo Lake following a scenic trail to Pangka 4,545m. The climb on a rocky path into ablation valley we pass the first lake (Longpongo), the second lake (Taboche Tsho) and the third lake (Dudh Pokhari). The bank of the shore is summer settlement of Gokyo at 4,790 meters. After lunch, free for hike to Gokyo Ri at 5,357m another highlight of this adventure. Gokyo Ri offers breathtaking scenery of world’s highest peak from Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche and to the east Mt. Makalu as well as Gokyo lakes and valley. We stay at marvelous and sound Gokyo village.

                  • Day 9 Gokyo rest day, hike to GokyoRi 5,357m

                    One of the highlights of this journey Gokyo Ri 5,357m offers mind blowing panorama of world’s highest peak from Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche and Mt. Makalu. Along with Gokyo lakes. After a mesmerizing time at Gokyo Ri descend to Gokyo for lunch and relax in Gokyo surrounding. 

                    • Day 10 Gokyo to Thaknak 4,750m - 04 hrs

                      After a relaxing time in Gokyo, continue walk for few hours steer to Thaknak. Thaknak is on the bottom of Chugyuma or Tsho-la pass, near Nha village at the foot of the Ngozumba glacier.

                      • Day 11 Cross Tsho-la 5,367m and trek to Dzongla 4,830 m -07 hrs

                        Before dawn get ready for the long step ascend towards Tsho-la pass (pronounced as Cho-la) for few hours the walk leads to the rocky moraine. This is arduous job to find the path in snow and ice however in dry time just walk on the rubble and moraine. Reach at the top enclosed by several peaks of Cholatse, Nirekha and Taboche and hard traverse leads to a small valley at Dzong-la for overnight halt. 

                        • Day 12 Trek to Lobuche 4,940 m - 05 hrs

                          After wonderful stop in Dzongla, an uphill path for an hour place us to Thugla (Dugla) located on the midway joining Pheriche valley, Dingboche and Cholatse pass, Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar. We have gradual walk to Lobuche for night stay.

                          • Day 13 Trek to Gorakshep 5,170 m and Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and return to Gorakshep - 06 hrs

                            Starting the morning with a gentle walk could be hard due to high altitude yet gains the views of Mt. Pumori, Lingtrin, Khumbutse and Everest. After 2 hours of strenuous walk on moraine and icy trails we make to Gorakshep. Gorakshep has 4-5 nice lodges being the last place with lodge facilities before Everest Base Camp. Break at Gorakshep enables trekkers to further continue the journey to Everest Base Camp through the trails of moraine overlooking at Khumbu Icefall. An hour of exploring and refilling the experience of Everest Base Camp, we return to Gorakshep for the stay.

                            • Day 14 Hike to Kalapathar 5,545m trek to Pheriche 4,280m - 05 hrs

                              On the 14th day, we reach our next highlighted destination and the highest point of 2 pass Everest Base Camp Trek. With a steep climb for 2 hours we land to Kalapatthar hill top, a black rocky ridge at 5,545 meters high, offering awesome panorama of giant peaks and Mt. Everest at arm’s length distance towards East. After an incredible experience, with high spirit return to Gorakshep and continue trek downhill to reach at the base of Cho-la pass in Dzongla. Dzongla is a temporary settlement with few Teahouses / Lodge with grand views of Cholatse and Taboche peaks.

                              • Day 15 Trek to Namche Bazaar via Pangboche 3,900 m and Thyangboche

                                From Pheriche, pleasant long walk on the downhill drop us to Thyangboche via Shomare and Pangboche village. The visibility of tree lines and rich green vegetation indicates the nearness of Namche. A pleasant winding trail brings us back at Namche Bazaar for overnight stop.

                                • Day 16 Trek back to Lukla - 07 hrs

                                  Retrace the journey back to Lukla via Monjo, entrance/exist of Sagarmatha National Park. Explore the surrounding scenery as the trail leads back to Lukla. It is the last day to walk in 2 passes Everest Base Camp trek. Just few small uphill climb brings back to Lukla for last overnight stop around Khumbu and Everest region. As we reach Lukla, we give farewell to our loyal and friendly porters.

                                  • Day 17 Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels

                                    Flight starts early morning so we transfer to Tenzing and Hillary air terminal at Lukla airport. On boarding the plane a sweeping flight of 30 minutes lands you in Kathmandu. You are transfer to respective hotels with leisure. Farewell dinner will be served in the night time with music and dance.

                                    • Day 18 International departure

                                      As per international flight time Nepal Adventure Team staff will transfer you to international airport for your flight. With excellent service of Nepal Adventure Team, we ensure great adventure of 2 passes Everest base camp trek. Looking forward to serve you in trekking and traveling, we bid you warm goodbyes.
