What will you do if there is no flight from Jomsom to Pokhara?

The flight from Jomsom to Pokhara is pretty much dependable. Due to bad weather, if your flight is unavailable, we will arrange a jeep or other transportation to get to Pokhara on the same day to spend the night in Pokhara. You can also wait for the next day to have clear weather for the flight if you have time. We have a very flexible itinerary and your decision will be the last.

What time you will get up for sunrise?

On the day of the Ghorepani trek, the Guide will check the regular sunrise time and your Guide will brief you on what time to wake up the next morning and what time to start hiking. Normally, people start walking at 5 or 5:30 and the time of sunrise is 6:15 to 6:30 but note that the sunrise may be earlier some time of year.

Do you need a swimming custom for the hot spring?

It’s a small pond that can fit around 15 to 25 people so; Swimming is not allowed in the Hot spring. You are just allowed to sit and relax in Tatopani.

What type of transportation?

Depending upon your group size we use a private van, jeep or tourist bus, and Airplane.

Is it allowed to get inside the temple?

The Muktinath temple is open to all visitors; there are no boundaries for any specific religion or nationality. We respect anyone from any part of the world, while they are in Nepal

Will you get altitude sickness during this tour?

This trek is low altitude trek, suitable for almost every traveler but you should always be aware of “altitude-related problems” while trekking in Nepal.

Do I need a guide?

Although it is not mandatory for hiring a guide and porter through a company is more fun and you don’t have to worry about anything. You won’t get lost, and if any emergencies arise, you will be well taken care of with no worries.

Will you have to carry your stuff?

If you are trekking through Travel Company, then you will have a porter to carry your stuff.

Can I charge my mobile phone/camera on the trek?

Yes, you can charge your phone/ camera batteries but do not forget to bring extra batteries. Better bring a solar charger during the treks.
