Yes, it is possible to land at either Kanchenjunga North (Pangpema) Base Camp or Kanchenjunga South (Oktang) Base Camp Trek, depending on weather conditions, and we only stay there for 30 to 40 minutes.

Yes, the following permits are required, such as a TIMs (Trekkers Information Management System) Card, Kanchenjunga Conservation Area entry, and Kanchenjunga Restricted Area Permit.

Is Altitude Sickness a Risk at the Kanchenjunga Base Camp?

Altitude sickness is reduced because the helicopter is pressurized. Someone may feel symptoms, but you will not spend more time at high altitude, ensuring your safety.  Oxygen is also available on board in case of emergency.
