Island Peak (6,189 m.) also famously known as ImjaTse peak, located in the Everest region. It is one of the popular peaks primarily among adventure seekers and one of the frequently organized trips by the Nepal Adventure Team. Island peak is said to have ascended by the British team in 1995, since then Island peak has been in demand among travelers. Island peak climbing trip is also combined with Everest region trekking, as it lies to the north of Mt. Nupse, regarded to be a part of Mt. Lhotse as well.
