A helicopter tour to Muktinath temple is one of the best choices for religious people or pilgrims who wish to travel to the holy place of Nepal but are restrained by physical difficulties or who have less time to trek. The tour is also suitable for those people who do not wish to go through difficult trekking. Whatever the reason, this is the best choice for traveling to Muktinath. Nepal Adventure Team has made its dream possible to happen.

Muktinath is a very popular religious temple located in the alpine region of Nepal called Mustang. The temple is popular for both Hindus and Buddhists since Hindus believe Lord Vishnu lies in the temple while Buddhists believe it is the symbol of Nirvana. The Muktinath temple also lies in the itinerary of many other trekking packages so some combine it with the Annapurna Circuit treks.

The helicopter tour to Muktinath starts early in the morning from Kathmandu and continues for hours until you arrive at the helipad site of Muktinath. Taking about half an hour hike to Muktinath, you can explore the temple. Cleansing off with the holy water from 108 waterspouts, touring around the eternal flame site, and sightseeing for a while, you will get back to Kathmandu / Pokhara on the same helicopter flight.

    Most Amazing Trip to Muktinath

4 of us from India had come to Nepal for a pilgrimage to Pashupatinath and other religious sites. After our trip was over, we still had a few days left in hand so we contacted Jeevan, the owner of Nepal Adventure Team so he could plan for a trip. Jeevan had previously planned one of our trips here in Nepal. Even on short /notice, Jeevan and his team drafted a perfect plan for our trip. He perfectly managed for us a helicopter sightseeing tour to Muktinath in Mustang.

The flight began from Pokhara. It was also the first time that I had been to Pokhara and I found it very beautiful. The helicopter landed us in Ranipawa. From there we hiked for about half an hour to the holy Muktinath Temple. The entire trip to Nepal this time was very spiritual. We had no idea that we would land on one of the holiest temples in Nepal yet again. We did our puja in the temple and also took a refreshing bath in the holy water sprouts. We headed back to our helicopter which took us back to Pokhara.

I was really scared to fly back because it suddenly started to get very windy. However, the helicopter ride was very safe; the pilot seemed to have a lot of experience. I’m always amazed at how Jeevan manages these tours so easily and promptly. I highly suggest everyone plan their trips with Jeevan and his team in Nepal. I will be visiting Nepal again pretty soon. I hope I have the same adventurous and fun experience as this one!
