• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines.

    On arrival at Kathmandu international airport terminal Nepal, Adventure Team staff and guide will receive you with a warm welcome and then transfer to respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu around the interesting area of Thamel. After refreshment our guide/leader will brief with information regarding hotels, Langtang Valley trek and Yala Peak Climb with welcome dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant with folk cultural program.

  • Day 2 In Kathmandu sightseeing tour at places of interest.

    After breakfast, our city guide will take you on a half-day tour around Kathmandu at places of interest, as Kathmandu valley is steeped in ancient history and culture, full of world heritage sites and monuments, after an enjoyable and interesting time back to the hotel with afternoon free at leisure and preparation for Yala Peak Climb and Langtang Valley Trek.

  • Day 3 Drive to Syabrubesi (1,460 m) - 07 hours.

    Starting Langtang Valley Panorama trekking with an overland drive to Syabrubesi village where this beautiful adventure begins, journey heads north passing many towns and farm villages of Kakani, Trisuli and Ramche, this nice long drive leads towards cooler area beyond hills on leaving the low warm areas of rice terraces, as the air gets cooler reaching higher altitude at Langtang National Park in Dhunche town located 1,965m high, a major town of Langtang and Rasuwa district. After a brief stop journey continues further downhill on the winding road for another hour to reach our first overnight stop at Syabrubesi village.

  • Day 4 Trek to Lama Hotel (2,430m) - 06 hours.

    Morning first-day walk starts with a climb for few hours, and then walk gets gentle on the gradual path through terraced farms and scattered villages, the trek continues reaching at the riverside where the trail from Thulo Syabru meets ( our route on the way back) at Bamboo with few teahouses and lodges, after a nice stop walk leads on the uphill trail into a cool forest of rhododendron, oaks, and pines tree lines and gorge following the Trisuli River fed from the glacier of Langtang peaks, the walk follows the river upstream than on the gradual nice path to Lama Hotel for an overnight stop. Lama Hotel located in the middle of alpine forest with nice clearing for a campsite and organic vegetable garden.

  • Day 5 Trek to Langtang village (3,430m) - 06 hours.

    After a nice pleasant morning, walk begins heading into a river gorge with thickly forested area on passing few small farm settlements, mid-day walk reaches a nice place at Ghoretabla (horse stable), from onwards altitude gains slowly and the air gets cooler. In Ghoretabla a fine area was in the early days was a horse breeding and grazing place, horses around the Himalaya region are called Tibetan Ponies, smaller but sure-footed for mountain terrains and high altitude. After a lunch break, afternoon trek continues to our overnight stop at Langtang village after walking for few hours from a lunch stop, Langtang village a nice moderate size village of Tamang and Bhotia’s tribe people, a native of Langtang region for hundreds of years.

  • Day 6 Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,850m) - 04 hours.

    This morning a short and half-day walk to our first destination at Kyanjin Gompa around Langtang valley, the walk follows a short steep uphill where tree lines decline for short bushes of rhododendron, juniper, and prickly Burberry bushes, walk slowly enters the wide glacial valley with incredible views of surrounding high snowcapped peaks with Dorji Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Tsego RI, Langshsisa and Naya Kanga or Ganja la peak. After a nice scenic walk reaching at Kyanjin Gompa for an overnight stop and rest day, a wonderful spot with wide green meadows a pasture or grazing land for Yaks and other cattle’s. Langtang valley offers a view of Langtang Lirung glacier and icefall just nearby, Kyanjin with an old small run-down monastery placed on a rocky moraine ridge top, this place has a Yak Cheese Factory established some 30 years ago with Swiss technical support.

  • Day 7 At Kyanjin Gompa rest and hike.

    A necessary rest day at Kyanjin for acclimatization before heading towards high Gosainkund area, here with an optional hike up to a hilltop of Tsergo Ri at 5,033m. The climb to Tsergo Ri is quite steep requires good physical fitness, but offers awesome views of high mountains. Afternoon rest and marvel the panorama of Chimsedang Lekh, and Kangjal Himal, a ridge of peaks bordering the valley to the south, Naya Kanga 5,844m. stunning views of the great mountains flanking the Langtang valley, including Ganchenpo 6,387m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990 m, Pemthang Karpo Ri 6,830m, Langtang Lirung 7,245m and across the northern boundary in Tibet rises the huge massive Shishapangma 8,046 m the last 14th world’s highest mountain.

  • Day 8 Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4,400 m ) - 06 hours.

    On leaving Kyanjin Gompa for the highlights of this trip, walking along the rocky glacier and then to a steep climb through an icy trail to reach a flat camping area of Yala Peak base camp at 4,400m. The base camp offers outstanding views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and others peaks till Yala base camp is reached for the first camp of this trip after being in the comfort of a lodge, base camp with a marvelous view of high massif surrounding mountains.

  • Day 9 Climb to Yala Summit (5,732 m ) to base camp.

    Starting early for the big day walk leads to climbing to the summit depending on weather conditions however Yala peak is less technical but it takes nearly eight hours to reach the summit and back to base camp. After a strenuous climb to the summit at 5,732 meters and 18,806 feet, on reaching the top where the dream becomes a reality with overwhelming success, from top of the summit overlooking striking panorama that surrounds you with world’s highest mountains lies before you. Yala summit offers breathtaking views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung and many other mountains in Tibetan side, after an enjoyable and magnificent moment on the top descend back to base camp.

  • Day 10 Reserve and contingency day in case of bad weather.

    An extra day as contingency day, in case of unfavorable weather conditions some times in this high Himalayan range, the weather can be unpredictable, so an extra day on this type of adventure is very necessary if all goes well can be used on the way back on route Syabrubesi, adding a short day walk enjoying the great scenery along the way.

  • Day 11 Return to Kyanjin Gompa (3850 m) -05 hours.

    Leaving Yala Peak base camp, walk back to Kyanjin Gompa following icy path steeply descends offering marvelous views of massif Himalaya, enjoying views of mountains and gently ascend to reach Kyanjin Gompa for an overnight stop.

  • Day 12 Trek to Lama Hotel - 06 hours.
    After a great time with Yala Peak climb around beautiful Langtang valley, a long day walk but much easier on the downhill trail most of the way to Lama Hotel through Langtang village and Ghoretablea following the Langtang Khola and back at Lama Hotel for an overnight stop.

  • Day 13 Trek back to Syabrubesi -06 hours.
    Trek follows on the same route for an hour, then after the bridge walk is pleasant through a bamboo forest, on leaving the river walk downhill through farm terraces till Syabrubesi is reached for an overnight stop.

  • Day 14 Drive back to Kathmandu - 06 hours.

    Morning drive leads on the winding downhill road passing interesting farm villages of Ramche, Manebhajyang and Trisuli Bazaar and then back to Kathmandu after a great interesting overland journey, on reaching Kathmandu rest of the afternoon free for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

  • Day 15 International departure for homeward bound.
