• Day 1 Arrival at airport and transfer to hotel

    Nepal Adventure Team staff will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport and settle you in respective hotels in the Thamel area. Welcome dinner with the cultural program is organized by Nepal Adventure Team to fire up the energy for the trek.

  • Day 2 Preparation day in Kathmandu

    This day is all about the preparation required for the adventurous trek in the Everest region. You will be informed about the trekking plans, tips, tricks, and required materials for a cozy journey. You can just rest and relax for the entire day to accumulate the energy for a trek or just explore the Kathmandu valley and the World Heritage Sites.

  • Day 3 Drive to Ramechhap, and Fly to Lukla (2,820 m) then trek to Phakding (2,640 m) 4 hours

    This day our journey will be very tough because you drive to Ramechhap very early around 2 am, and about to 4 hours. you will have breakfast on the way and directly drive to Manali airport, and a short scenic flight to Lukla in a smaller plane, on 18-20 minutes airborne incredible views of the snowcapped mountains range with a glimpse of Everest as the plane lands at Lukla's amazing airstrip. From Lukla, after a refreshing break follow our expert guide as the walk leads downhill and on a gradual winding trail passing several nice Sherpa traditional villages with cheerful smiles to reach our first overnight stop at Phakding village by the glacial river Dudh Kosi.

  • Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) 5 hours

    After an enjoyable first-day trek, this morning's walk is pleasant through beautiful alpine woodland of pines and rhododendron trees with views of snowcapped peaks, walk leads following the river upstream crossing several bridges and entering the Sagarmatha National Park entrance at Monjo, this park listed as highest park and within world heritage sites. As the walk progress after the last high bridge and uphill haul all the way to Namche Bazaar, a wonderful town village where the colorful houses serve as hotels and lodge set in a U shape. Namche Bazaar is the last place with modern facilities of ATMs, Banks, post offices, Cyber Café, Trekking / Climbing shops, and stores with many cafe, bakeries, and restaurants with great views of Kwangde peaks towards the south.

  • Day 5 Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion

    A day is separated for acclimatization at Namche Bazar. You can go for a hike to the nearby areas such as National Park Headquarters, Museum, market, monastery, and like. You can observe the lifestyle of local people. Besides, you can just rest and relax by cherishing the view of mesmerizing mountains; Everest, Thamserku, Kangtenga, Kwangde, Ama Dablam, Khumbila, and more.

  • Day 6 Trek to Dole (4,110 m) 6 hours

    As we head to Gokyo, the first-hour walk is easy and moderate till it joins the main trail at Kyangima near Shanasa and there is a chance of seeing wildlife: Danphe pheasant (Impeyan Pheasant, the National bird of Nepal), elusive musk deer, red panda, snow leopard and sometimes a herd of Himalayan Thar (mountain goat). Our route diverts towards the north with a slow climb to the ridge at Mong 3,973 meters. After Mong, the path descends with a series of switchbacks to Dudh Kosi at Phortse Thangka. Further, the path ascends through a patch of rhododendron, juniper, and conifers trees. Finally, reach Dole via Tongba village (3,950m) and Gayle (3,960m) for the overnight halt with a striking view of Khumbila and Tawache 6,542m.

  • Day 7 Trek to Machherma (4,470 m) 4 hours

    After Dole, the journey continues for an hour along the side of the valley on a moderate-level trail to Lhabarma Kharka at 4,325 m and Luza at 4,390m. Skirting around the ridge line with the first glimpse of Machherma, we stop at Machherma for lunch, dinner, and stay. The afternoon can be used for a short hike to view Mt. Cho Oyo 8,210m and all the mountains that flank the Ngozumba Glacier which also supports acclimatization.

  • Day 8 Trek to Gokyo (4,800 m) 4 hours

    The journey leads to Gokyo Lake following a scenic trail to Pangka (4,545 m). The climb on a rocky path into ablation valley we pass the first lake (Longpongo), the second lake (Taboche Tsho), and the third lake (Dudh Pokhari). The bank of the shore is the summer settlement of Gokyo at 4,790 meters. After lunch, a free hike to Gokyo Ri at 5,357m is another highlight of this adventure. Gokyo Ri offers breathtaking scenery of the world’s highest peaks from Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche, and to the east Mt. Makalu as well as Gokyo lakes and valley. We stay at the marvelous and sound Gokyo village.

  • Day 9 Gokyo rest day, hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357 m)

    One of the highlights of this journey Gokyo Ri 5,357m offers a mind-blowing panorama of the world’s highest peaks from Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche, and Mt. Makalu. Along with Gokyo lakes. After a mesmerizing time at Gokyo Ri descend to Gokyo for lunch and relax in Gokyo surrounding.

  • Day 10 Gokyo to Thaknak (4,750 m) 4 hours

    After a relaxing time in Gokyo, continue to walk for a few hours and steer to Thaknak. Thaknak is on the bottom of Chugyuma or Tsho-la pass, near Nha village at the foot of the Ngozumba glacier.

  • Day 11 Cross Tsho-la (5,367 m) and trek to Dzongla (4,830 m) 7 hours

    Before dawn get ready for the long step to ascend towards Tsho-la pass (pronounced as Cho-la) for a few hours the walk leads to the rocky moraine. This is an arduous job to find the path in snow and ice however in dry times just walk on the rubble and moraine. Reach the top enclosed by several peaks of Cholatse, Nirekha, and Taboche and a hard traverse lead to a small valley at Dzong-la for an overnight halt.

  • Day 12 Trek to Lobuche (4,940 m) 5 hours

    After a wonderful stop in Dzongla, an uphill path for an hour place us to Thugla (Dugla) located on the midway joining Pheriche valley, Dingboche and Cholatse pass, Everest Base Camp, and Kalapathar. We have a gradual walk to Lobuche for a night stay.

  • Day 13 Trek to Gorakshep (5,170 m) and Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and return to Gorakshep, 6-7 hours

    Starting the morning with a gentle walk could be hard due to the high altitude yet gains views of Mt. Pumori, Khumbutse, and Everest. After 2 hours of strenuous walking on moraine and icy trails, we make it to Gorakshep. Gorakshep has 4-5 nice lodges being the last place with lodge facilities before Everest Base Camp. Break at Gorakshep enables trekkers to further continue the journey to Everest Base Camp through the trails of moraine overlooking Khumbu Icefall. After an hour of exploring and refilling the experience of Everest Base Camp, we return to Gorakshep for our stay.

  • Day 14 Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m) trek to Pheriche (4,280 m) 5 hours

    On the 14th day, we reach our next highlighted destination and the highest point of 2 pass Everest Base Camp Trek. After a steep climb for 2 hours, we land at Kalapatthar hilltop, a black rocky ridge at 5,545 meters high, offering an awesome panorama of giant peaks and Mt. Everest at arm’s length distance towards the East. After an incredible experience, with high spirits return to Gorakshep and continue the trek downhill to reach at the base of Cho-la pass in Dzongla. Dzongla is a temporary settlement with a few Tea/house Lodges with grand views of Cholatse and Taboche peaks.

  • Day 15 Trek to Namche Bazaar via Pangboche (3,900 m) and Thyangboche

    From Pheriche, a pleasant long walk on the downhill drops us to Thyangboche via Shomare and Pangboche village. The visibility of tree lines and rich green vegetation indicates the nearness of Namche. A pleasant winding trail brings us back to Namche Bazaar for an overnight stop.

  • Day 16 Trek back to Lukla (2820 m)7 hours

    Retrace the journey back to Lukla via Monjo, entrance/exist of Sagarmatha National Park. Explore the surrounding scenery as the trail leads back to Lukla. It is the last day to walk in 2 passes Everest Base Camp trek. Just few small uphill climb brings back to Lukla for last overnight stop around Khumbu and Everest region. As we reach Lukla, we give farewell to our loyal and friendly porters.

  • Day 17 Fly back to Ramechhap, and drive back to Kathmandu

    The flight starts early morning so we transfer to Tenzing and Hillary air terminals at Lukla airport. On boarding the plane a sweeping flight of 18-20 minutes lands you in Ramechhap, and you will drive back to Kathmandu. You are transferring to your respective hotels with leisure. Farewell dinner will be served in the nighttime with music and dance.

  • Day 18 International departure

    As per international flight time Nepal Adventure Team staff will transfer you to international airport for your flight.
