• Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.)

    Welcome to the paradise of the Himalayas. Your journey to the top of the world begins upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon your arrival at Airport, the Nepal adventure Team representative warmly welcome you and transfers you to a selective hotel in a private vehicle. After having some relaxing time in your comfortable hotel you will pick up from there to have a briefing session where you will discuss each day's program and conduct an introduction segment with your guide and fellow trekkers, where you will get to know each other. Then you will join a welcome dinner party at a typical Nepali restaurant with an amazing cultural dance performance, along with Traditional Nepali food Daal Bhat Tarkari. You are going to spend your first day in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Fly to Lukla (2,804 m/9,200 ft.) and trek to Phakding (2,623 m/8,605 ft.) 3-4 Hours.

    Today, you are heading to Domestic Airport to catch an early morning flight to Lukla, due to the weather condition or cancellations later it is advisable to take an early morning flight which takes you about 30 to 35 minutes to reach Lukla, your Gateway to the Himalayas. After the adrenaline-filled landing at one of the shortest runways in the world, Lukla you will introduce yourself to your porters and crew members. Today you are flying into Lukla which is about 2,804 meters then you have a 3 to 4 hours hike to the Phakding village and it’s at the lower 2,623 meters which means you are going to hike high and sleep low. Then your first step toward the top of the world begins, and you will slowly walk through the stone-paved streets of Lukla. Moving on you will reach Cheplung village and then you will also encounter your first metal suspension bridge over the Thado Koshi River, so if you have a fear of crossing bridges, relax! Just take a deep breath and then follow the rhythm of your step, one foot after another because you are going to face these bridges all along the way. Continue on and you will come across the famous black and white Tibetan Mantras written on walls, boulders, and small Chortens. Following the Dudhkoshi River through a forested area, finally, you will reach Phakding at 2610 meters. You will rest at night in Phakding village.

  • Day 3 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 6-7 Hours

    Today is a big day, you are going to trek Namche Bazaar from Phakding which is about 6 to 7 hours of one of the longest treks on the EBC trail. You are going to start your day with a warm breakfast and you will head toward today’s destination Namche Bazaar, a trading hub of the Khumbu region. Throughout the day you are going to cross several suspension bridges. Passing through Zamphute village and small settlements of Tok-Tok you will trek over the first some big boulders before ascending up some steps. You will also visit the TIMS counter at Chumao. Your guide will do the job. You will have lunch at Monjo, where you can also visit a small Gompa. Continue on the trail; ascend to cross the Dudh Koshi on the way to riverside Jorsale, you will follow up the steep forested trail. Your trek rewards you with a splendid view of Everest after crossing a very high suspension bridge. You then reach Namche, a town surrounded by numerous snowy mountains where you can have all the facilities you need for further trek, where the Sagarmatha National Park headquarters and private museum can locate. Today you are going to stay overnight at Namche.

  • Day 4 Rest day at Namche Bazaar and excursion to Hotel Everest View (3,880 m/12,726 ft.) 2-3 Hours.

    Today is your first Acclimatization day at Namche. You will hike up to the Hotel Everest View through Sagarmatha National park where you can enjoy the 360 degrees of snowy mountains all around you and surely you can get enough of natural beauty at Hotel Everest View. On the way, you can also visit the statue of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, the first Nepali to climb Mount Everest. Following the trail, you will reach the Hotel Everest View, where you can have a hot cup of tea or anything you like, along with the view of magnificent Mount Everest. You will head back down to Namche. Shortly after your arrival at Namche, you will have your lunch and for the rest of the day, you can stroll around the little market doing some shopping and stuff. You can also hangouts at a little Irish pub and bakeries for a hot drink. If you are lucky enough, you can also enjoy the famous weekly market, which is held on every Saturday. Tonight you will stay at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 5 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867 m/ 12,686 ft.) 5-6 Hours.
    Today, you will follow the mountainous trail along the edge after having breakfast and giving your farewell to Namche Bazaar. Passing through the forest, small Gompa with a large prayer wheel outside a lodge, you will continue following the trail. The trail leads you to Sanasa where you can explore the small souvenir market. Crossing Dudh Koshi at Phunki Thang, the mountainous trail leads you to Tengboche, a beautiful village in the Everest region. From Tengboche, you can have a splendid view of the Himalayas such as Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawache, Nuptse, and Mt. Everest. You can also find the famous Tengboche monastery. You will spend your night at Tengboche.

  • Day 6 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350 m/14,272 ft.) 5-6 Hours.

    Today, you will head towards the Dingboche. Following the rocky trail and crossing the suspension bridges you will reach Debouche. Offering a spectacular view your trail passes through Milingo and a small footbridge until you reach Pangboche below the towering Ama Dablam where can experience Sherpa hospitality. You will continue to head towards Shomare, and then the trail leads you, Oshiro. Finally, you will reach Dingboche. It is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers heading to Mount Everest (8848 m), Ama Dablam (6812 m), Labouche Peak (6119 m), and Imja Tse (6160 m). You will spend your night at Dingboche.

  • Day 7 Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion to Nangkartshang Peak. 3-4 Hours

    Today is another Acclimatization day; you are going to spend your day at Dingboche, which is the last Sherpa village of Khumbu. A perfect sunny place, less affected by the icy wind that descends through the valley of Khumbu which makes Dingboche suitable for Acclimatization. You will start your day with breakfast and hike towards the Nangkartshang peak with an altitude of 5083m. You will reach the top of the NangKartshang peak in about 2 to 3 hours, where you can see the beautiful view of Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Lhotse, Everest, and many more. After that, you will head back to Dingboche and spend your time visiting around Dingboche.

  • Day 8 Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930 m/16,170 ft.) 5-6 Hours.

    You are going to Lobuche from Dingboche, which takes about 5 to 6 hours. Walking towards Dosa, where you will have lunch, you will go slowly because of the tough climb. Walking by the memorials of climbers and porters who lost their lives in tragic accidents on Everest (Thok La) and crossing the ridge Pumori’s Peak (7165 m), you will your trek to reach Lobuche. Finally, you reach Lobuche which is a cold place with only a few houses and tea houses.

  • Day 9 Trek to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) & trek to EBC (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) & back to Gorak Shep.6-7 Hours.

    Today is day 9 of your Everest Base Camp trek; you will start your trek after breakfast, then you head towards Gorak Shep, where you are going to have a delicious lunch. Continue on Everest Base Camp, first, you have to walk through Gorak Shep, walking slowly through Khumbu Glaciers to your right, where you can hear a creaking sound of ice breaking, and then ascending the Changri Shar Glacier you will reach Gorak Shep. Passing through Gorak Shep you then head for the mighty Mount Everest Base Camp. But once you reach the foot of Mt. Everest, you will find it surprisingly mind-blowing. Then you head back to Gorak Shep with a victorious feeling of conquering Everest hypothetically and enjoy the rest of the evening. You sleep at Gorak Shep tonight.

  • Day 10 Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m/18,192 ft.) 3-4 hours and Chartered Helicopter to Kathmandu

    Today, on day 10 of your Everest Base Camp journey, you will start walking to the top of Kala Patthar after breakfast, where you can have the best view of Everest this is why it is a very famous point to view Mount Everest for trekkers from all over the world. Besides, Everest, you can view Nuptse, and Changtse as a rewarding view for the climb. Taking a lifetime views of the Himalayas, you then drop back to Gorak Shep and soon you will be flying over the beautiful Khumbu region from Gorak Shep to Kathmandu. Nepal Adventure Team staff will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You may relax in your comfortable hotel or do some souvenir shopping for your family and friends back home which is all up to you. In the evening you will join a farewell dinner party, where we will celebrate your successful trekking. Share your personal experience of trekking, along with a delicious meal and your companion from the trek, your guide. You will spend your night in Kathmandu.

  • Day 11 Final Departure

    This is day 11, your last day of trekking. Nepal Adventure Team staff will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home, after giving you a final farewell. We are always ready to guide you soon. Don’t forget heaven is a myth Nepal is real.
