Kali Gandaki is the classic yet a very popular river for the medium river rafting. Flowing from Mustang and Dhaulagiri Himal through deepest ravine / gorge in the world between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains, Kali-Gandaki rafting offers mighty waves and sandy beaches and rapids like Leopards Jump and Devils shake, with many more exciting white water thrills as you float down stream.
The Kali Gandaki rafting starts with a drive to Nayapul Baglung pump and starting from there to end the exhilarating adventure at Mirmi Dam while the pace of the trip is supplemented with abrupt drops with spectacular villages terraces under surreal Himalayan back drop. To add up to the excitements, one can later journey to a lot of interesting places and do different activities.
Day 01:Drive to Nayapul Baglung Pumpand rafting around 4 hours. Camp nearby Modibeni.
Day 02:Rafting for 4 hours and camping at Purtighat.
Day 03:3 hrs rafting to end at Mirmi Dam and transfer to Pokhara.
The groups safety is very important for us. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Even though every effort is made to go as planned, a little change might occur in the itinerary because of weather conditions, health condition of a person, unexpected natural disasters, etc. The leader will try to ensure the trip runs as planned, but please be prepared to be flexible just in case. Extension trip at Pokhara and beyond:
If you want to extend your trip, you can do one or more of the followings; Para Gliding-Zip Flyer- Rafting at (Seti River, Karnali, Trisuli River, etc)-Bungy jumping, Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park-Sightseeing tour- short hike to Buddhist Peace Stupa, Sarangkot hilltop and more.
Important: Please dont forget to bring the proper apparel or swim wear for the rafting.
